LDS Scriptures App app good for

Very easy to use and to jump from one scripture to another for tagging, bookmark, cross referencing or going through notes in using different Search tabs. On top of that, we can create lessons which would be related to the scriptures, notes, manuals in the app and even copy and paste messages related to a particular subject from other internet sites into the planing of the lesson. Great also for scripture chaining Chris

This app is perfect, the only problem is that the French version doesnt work. Im actually really looking forward to have it working! Thanks a lot for this great app!

Very clean, professional, and useful scripture app. Updates general conference talks and manuals. I always take it to church rather than carrying all of the manuals with me. A must for any Sunday School teacher that may need to teach the occasional lesson on the fly.

An amazing app that puts any resource that you would need for church at your fingertips. Well worth the money.

I have had occasion to contact support a couple of times with update issues and they have been very responsive. Certainly the developers are anxious to maintain a great app and seem to always be coming up with new and improved tools and content. Ill be interested to see what they come up with next.

Some bad moments

When this app first came out I just gave it a try. It was good at first but when the upgrades came out there just seemed to be more and more issues with those upgrades. I had the app for about too years and finally got so frustrated I gave the other $15 app a try. It has been a little more basic but more reliable. It seems like the people upgrading these apps should troubleshoot them before sending them out.

I have a iPhone 4 and just updated my OS from 4.X to 5 and this app crashes about 10 seconds into navigating the app. Its great when it doesnt crash and I love that it syncs with my Mac, but this issue needs some TLC. When the crash is fixed this app is 5

Used app for almost a year and it was great. There was an upgrade and now I cant use it at all. It crashes as soon as I try to use it. Wouldnt spend the $15 again to buy this app.

Loved this app but like others but the latest update disabled the app. It wont finish updating and its been 4 months. I even deleted it and tried downloading it again with no better results. Im really sad cuz its a great app.( Otherwise 5 stars for sure!)

Very good app, but difficult to use, especially for those with sight impairments using voice-over. Many of your buttons are not labeled, and those which are are done so using abreviations which means you have to tap on and get into the icon to know what it is. Your streaming audio is impossible to find as is your download for future listening. I got the app because the free app did not feature a "play audio" button for the D&C nor for any of the hymns. Coincidentally, your paid app only offers conferences up to 1997, whereas your free app goes all the way back to 1979. A bit of a retorical question I suppose, but do the conference talks and magazines update themselves automatically every month or in the case of conferences, every April And October? Or do I have to download them as with the free app. Im sorry, but this is a shocking waist of money considering the lack of accessibility for the blind. This waist is made more apparent with your very disorganized tutorial. If youd seen it before posting it, youd know what I mean. You know how to use the app, but that doesnt mean everyone else knows how to. I wouldnt have minded paying 9.99 for it, but this app cost me 15 bucks which I cant get back!Worse yet, you say that there is a 100% money back guarantee but you leave no instructions as to how to get that money back. (It should be noted that I could get the hymns to play even though I couldnt get a particular hymn to start over from the beginning, but there is no blind-accessible way to play any of the scriptures or conference talks. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Does not work right on IPhone 5. Will not take u back where u left off. Turning pages with the arrows is a pain in the neck. Old version was great. Email for assistance and did not get an answer. Did everything FAQ suggested, and nothing worked. Rating 1
