LDS Scriptures App App Reviews

I bought this expensive app for all the content and was excited about the audio portion. This feature doesnt work and I have tried everything on my end with my iPhone 6 to fix this. I see other people complaining of the same problem. Please fix this! I will attempt to contact support however I see from other comments that your support needs fixing as well.

This app feels clunky and is not as smooth as the official LDS one (black icon with angel Moroni) BUT I really like the reverse lookup and have this paid to install this on my iPhone, kindle and Mac. Its a very handy and useful tool to have. Click on a number next to a verse and see everytime that verse has been cited in the LDS gospel library.

It works great! Just needs the current General Conference added.

Cant update for 2016. All other apps have done so. Whats wrong with LDS Scritures.com?

The newest update didnt fix the problems that iOS 7 presented. -Hidden buttons still dont work. -Doesnt save my place when I change pages or close the app and reopen it. Its unfortunate that this has become one of the worst apps. I used to love it. PLEASE fix the big bugs. I can deal with the little ones.

This used I be the best scripture app out there. Ever since iOS7 it has never been the same. I was extremely excited to see an update this morning, hoping and praying it would fix the wrongs, no such luck. Wont remember my last spot, opening a new tab does nothing but take me back to the library, hidden menus dont exist anymore. I want the old version back and dont know why it went from great to lackluster. I am still holding out hope but losing it quickly and about to demand a refund.

Please fix or go back to the version before your last big update. I really liked this app and it did everything I wanted it to do. I no longer can quickly go back and forth between scriptures. When I switch windows then switch back it brings me back to the library and doesnt save where I was. There are major highlighting issues too. I liked that I could plan all of my lessons right on my phone but I cant do that now. This was a five star app before the current version

Please fix the app. It never remembers my last location. I have more problems with this app than any other.

This used to be a great app, not sure it was worth the money, but it was the better of what was out there. Tab button isnt working properly, still. Saw another person comment about this. Hasnt been fixed yet. Hope you put a new update out... It would be great if you do.

Love this app when it works. Unfortunately, it has not been working well for the last month. All pages/tabs lose their place. I am surprised that so many of these updates that get out have serious bugs like this. This app needs better quality control before releasing updates.

Im not sure why so many people have issues with this app. Its always worked for me. No complaints.

Content is there. PDF library is not formatted correctly such that it is not useable. Scriptures are formatted well. I like the scripture reading. Looking up footnotes and getting back to verse is easy. Cross reference needs a search function. Needs more description in search results. For example, when a conference address is hit, the speaker and talk title ought to appear. Also, app needs to include links to LDS.org for conference talks and manuals. If you want to text a lesson to a sub teacher, the app ought to text the link to the lesson on LDS.org rather than the text of the lesson. Finally, the app needs to sync with my LDS.org study notebook like the "Library" app does.

Why does the PDF for the English triple combination still not work?? I have been reporting for months now that it doesnt display anything but blank pages! My iPhone 5 on the latest version of iOS 7.0.3 will act like its downloading that PDF, but when I try to read it, its nothing but blank pages. No content at all is visible. Other PDFs seem to work fine, but not this one. Please fix!!! Also, when will both PDF and regular versions of the scriptures be updated to use the new versions of the English scriptures released by the church in 2013? That includes new section headings in the D&C, among other things. Thanks!

My app was working great until I updated to get Oct 2013 conference. Now I cant see text and the layout is unfamiliar. Latest update didnt help.

Another great update. This app is by far the best scripture app on the app store and I have all of them including the churchs. I love being able to stream the audio for conference talks or to watch the conference videos from right in the app. The app is constantly being updated with new content and features. Being able to backup your notes and highlights has saved me more than once when I bought a new iPhone and reset my device.

This app has all kinda of great features and extra goodies. Its one stop for everything you need to study scriptures and prepare lessons or talks. They try to be very responsive if you have problems or questions. Also integrates with IPad which is a nice feature.
