LDS Scriptures App App Reviews

If you enjoy reading in Spanish, like I do, dont update. The app crashes when you try to read the scriptures in Spanish. I hope they fix it soon.

Not all the time do we have an Internet connection in our ward, because of our location. I liked using the hymns on the app with the music and words. Now I cant. Oh well, like everything that gets updated to make it better, it always makes it worse. Especially, when we have to use the Internet for everything.

Im sorry but those changes renders the app irrelevant and unusable, and until you change that, Im not using it, or using the old version. You charge the same while delivering less?? Why use this app if all it does is redirect to the LDS site? I can go there myself! The changes are unacceptable!!!!

Folks that are complaining. This app is complying with a lawsuit that was filed against them and the church that keeps them from placing the hymns here directly. Just an FYI. Its not an intentional downgrade for no reason or without cause. Obviously, all you can do is judge for yourself if its still an app that you appreciate or that helps you.

I have used this app for years. When there were copyright issues recently, I was totally bummed. I prefer this app for prepping my Gospel Doctrine lessons over the Churchs app. I was glad when they got the copyright issues worked out and couldnt go back to using this app for my lessons. The one thing that is dissatisfying, is the syncing between devices. Its pretty horrendous. The Church is app is 100% better at syncing between devices. I wish I could merge the best of both apps.

I have the "no longer supported" standard works app. I loved it. They just vanished. Is this he same software? Company? Developers? Why did inhale to pay twice? This better be good. Im trusting you.

Just did the update that said would fix the reading plan bugs on the iPad. It did fix the ability to begin a new reading plan but still does not allow me to page through the dates nor does it show the date Im on like it used to. Would appreciate a fix for this as well!! Thanks.

This is an expensive app for what it does and does not do. I am a listener to scriptures and other materials in the car. This app has no audio player functions. The old "LDS SCRIPTURES" app - apparently no longer available- is a superior product because it does the things this app does not do. Come on guys... You can do better! Also: no verse selection on lookup. This seems like a poor version of an old Palm pilot app. Sad but true!

I have really tried to like this app, but I find it extremely cumbersome and difficult to navigate. I like the overall concept, but bookmarking, highlighting and making notes in most apps is a pretty basic function, but for some reason I find it very unintuitive and frustrating when using these tools in this app.

I paid $15 for the app and now they charge $3 for each new feature? Its as bad as a freemium game, only the upfront cost was very high.

Love having this back! From release notes it looks like there are restrictions on what creators can have in app now - unfortunate but I get it. Love having it again, this is my only go to app for church - use it 100% for our lessons we teach.

When the app quit working I deleted it, glad to see it back, but never thought Id have to pay agian after all the times Ive already purchased it!

The app is great, but it doesnt have the Teachings of President Howard W. Hunter manual in it.

I cannot login to my existing account!! I have tried contacting someone through Facebook for support and I am getting no response. I must be able to get into my account, I have a lot of things saved in there!!!!! Please respond ASAP!!!
